New Campus Entrance Named in Honor of Harriet Warren
Please join us in thanking Wil ’88 and Zach ’91 Warren, and their father, Ed Warren, who have made a transformational gift to support Harriet Warren Way, the new entrance and roadway that are being constructed as part of Landon’s campus master plan.
Wil explained why this gift is a fitting tribute in memory of his mother, Harriet Thompson Warren. “She cherished the strength and energy of this community, the opportunities to get involved as a parent, and the friendships developed with faculty and other parents. She ran the antique show for the Azalea Festival and devoted significant time to the health and beauty of Landon’s gardens. Landon reminds our family of the generosity of Mom’s spirit, her optimism, and involvement.”
Zach attended Landon through his sophomore year of high school. Both men recall making friends that have lasted a lifetime during their times at Landon.
Wil added, “Landon was a foundational place in terms of developing character, honor, and humility.”
Wil is a Partner and President of global private equity firm Lexington Partners. He lives in New Canaan, Connecticut, with his wife, Emily, and three children. Zach lives in Hermosa Beach, California, with his wife, Wendy, and three children. Their father, Ed, resides in Malibu, California, and was a senior partner of Kirkland & Ellis, including 13 years as a management committee member.
“We are excited about how this project will reflect graduates’ memories of Landon while bringing the campus forth into the 21st century for students,” said Wil.
We extend our thanks to the Warren family and all of our generous benefactors who are helping us realize our strategic vision to enhance and transform our campus.
